mma videos often play the role of didactic materials. Sometimes people can’t afford to join a mixed martial arts school, MMA videos become the teachers or the coaches they need. Although the learning process remains at a lower quality level, it is not fair to deny efficiency premises to such materials. The striking and grappling tactics, the stand up and ground game can be approached differently by separate MMA videos. The whole idea is to get some especially designed programs in which all techniques and moves are explained. It is definitely not a good idea to learn from MMA videos that you watch on web sites like YouTube.

Collectors have put up large databases of MMA videos online, and they can be accessed by web site members or by paying a minimum fee. Videos played a great part in the officialization of mixed martial arts, because lots of viewers were won over by the adrenaline and the tactics. The violence is inherent, specific and all present in MMA videos, but at least people are no longer exposed to fight-to-death matches the way it happened with the first mixed martial arts experience. Besides the videos with a didactic content, the majority of the materials are dedicated to competitions, demonstrative matches and amateurish representations.

While posters are popular too, there is no doubt that we live in the age of digital technology and instead of taking photos, we are more inclined to shoot everything on camera. And since there are many camera users, the number of MMA videos is huge. The Internet technology actually allows anyone to upload video files on the Internet sharing them with friends, a specific community or anyone who accesses them. Plus, the inspirational side of MMA videos is undeniable.

It is common knowledge by now that when you show some mma fights videos to mixed martial arts fighters before a training session their motivational level will increase significantly. They will fight better, focus on techniques, pay attention to the coach’s tips and make fewer mistakes. Higher technical efficiency, this is what MMA videos can achieve for a fighter’s skills. And here we do not refer to unleashing the ‘beast’ or stimulating the violent instinct in man, but rather about the psychological impact that a peer demonstration has on the fighter’s ability in combat.
